On Tuesday 23 September 2025, we invite you to join us for the opening of the Centre for Martial Arts and Science (CEMAS) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Main Campus in Etterbeek.
CEMAS is a unique living lab where cutting-edge research, elite sport, and social impact meet. The centre aims to use martial arts to empower Brussels youth and foster social cohesion, in partnership with the Flemish Government, the Flemish Community Commission, and the Flemish Boxing League.
The celebration starts at 10:30 a.m., ahead of the 2025–2026 Academic Year Opening in the afternoon, making this a special day to experience the vibrant spirit of the VUB. You can expect inspiring presentations, guided tours, and a first look at our state-of-the-art facility.
