Her doctoral research investigates how sport organisations can actively manage their social value. The ultimate objective of this PhD research is to inspire, support, stimulate and build capacity amongst sports organisations and athletes through providing robust scientific insights. Specifically, an important objective of this PhD is to empower sport organisations and athletes to develop policies, campaigns and programmes that successfully put athletes to good use towards positive societal impact.
